  • Contribute to the implementation of best practice maintenance
  • Ensure the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing products run at maximum efficiency and output
  • Administer total preventive maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, ammonia/freon refrigeration and automated equipment
  • Lead the maintenance function providing both reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities in infrastructure
  • Assign duties and work orders
  • Responsible for planned schedule creation and overseeing adherence and timely completion of work performed
  • Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction
  • Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) ensuring that health, safety, and environmental requirements are met
  • Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard procedures as well as mentoring and leading and training the department
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Plan and oversee all installation activities
  • Source and purchase parts and equipment
  • Develop sustainable inventory program of parts
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report daily activities
  • Budgetary/cost reporting.


  • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance management in the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical
  • Ability to track and report activity
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with team members
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
  • Must be able to partner with production and other departments

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CMM a plus
