Maintenance Tech- 2nd Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install,
troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment, according
to safety and productive maintenance systems and processes, in order to support
the achievement of Pier Foundry’s business goals. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS: 

1. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain
production machines and the foundry’s equipment. 

2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production
equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of
production equipment during machine service and annual shutdown. 

3. Perform simple machinist
duties and responsibilities. 

4. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to,
mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of
production machines. 

5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to
perform required maintenance and service. 

6. Diagnose problems, replace
or repair parts, test and make adjustments. 

7. Perform regular preventive
maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. 

8. Comply with safety
regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. 

9. Perform all other duties as
assigned or needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Requires a high school
diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number
of years of education and production maintenance experience; An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or
industrial maintenance preferred;  

• 4+ years of manufacturing
experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with
some HVAC experience. induction furnace experience is preferred.  

• Prior experience successfully
working with ISO 9001 requirements. 

• Must be highly motivated and able
to work independently.  

Physical Work
Requirements: 

 Describe any physical and mental exertions including mobility, weight
lifting, visual requirements, patient care handling, dexterity level of
independent judgment and level of emotional stress such as dealing with
emergencies.  

This position
involves regular bending and lifting; continuous standing for long periods of
time; pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy parts and machines.  

Monday - Thursday 5:30PM – 4:00AM
Overtime Currently Available - typically scheduled on Friday 4:30PM – 1:00AM
Training occurs on 1st Shift
