Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an IT Sr. Applications Specialist for Novi corporate office located in Novi, MI reporting directly to IT Applications Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting applications in various Microsoft based products.


  • Develop new Applications and workflows as per business requirements in SharePoint.
  • Maintain business applications developed in SharePoint.
  • SharePoint site/server Administration.
  • Develop and maintain RPA applications in Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of applications (Supply Chain and Financials modules).
  • Develop and maintain Applications in .Net and C#.
  • Troubleshoot any application problem or perform investigations per user requests.
  • Work closely with related department and manufacturing plants to ensure applications are meeting their expectations.
  • Lead Kaizen/Improvement activities as well as cost reduction activities.
  • Regular report out progress to management.
  • Work with third party vendors to improve application performance by tuning the applications as per directions provided.
  • Develop and maintain applications
  • Provide status of projects and issues to management.
  • Resolve production support issues.
  • Develop documentation for applications developed.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions for new projects.


  • Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science or Computer Engineering).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of application development experience in SharePoint.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in RPA development using Power Automate.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of applications (Supply chain and Financials modules).
  • Minimum 5 year of experience in developing applications in .Net and C#.
  • 3 year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.
  • Advanced expertise in the following technology including:
    • SharePoint Apps development.
    • Backup & Restore of SharePoint Sites.
    • .NET AND C# programming.
    • RPA development using Microsoft Power Automate.
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of applications (Supply chain and Finance Modules)
    • Manufacturing business processes.
  • Understanding of the following technology:
    • Sql server and oracle databases.
    • Windows servers and most recent OS version
  • Expertise in using Excel, Power Point, Word, Access Database.
  • Ability to manage applications through their life cycle from application development to application decommission.
  • Proven skills to be a Self-starter with strong self-management skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Skills to direct infrastructure teams on management of server reboots and other server related tasks.
  • Ability to create project plans for application changes including communication plants and test plans.
  • Skills in creating incident reports to determine root cause for application downtimes.
