Title: Mechanical VA/VE Engineer
Location: Warminster, PA

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a dedicated Mechanical VA/VE Engineer to join their team and work with both the Engineering Division and Supply Chain Department.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree
• 5-8 Years of Relevant Experience
• Extract drawings from Engineering database and Production system
• Ensure documents have the latest revision
• Respond to questions and queries from suppliers on said drawings
• Participate in VAVE activities in liaison with Corp SCM VAVE Engineers and local Engineering team
• Identify alternative source of supply to support production schedule or cost reduction initiatives
• Assess and qualify alternative components based on specifications
• Evaluate performance, and various cost drivers associated with materials, labor, and overhead information as required for each project
• Optimize components and product designs for performance, cost, standardization, and manufacturability while working in consultation with divisional Design Engineering
