Need to be able to work with ATEX regulations IEC 60079-10 – Hazard Area Classification IEC 60079-xx – various electronic protection standards NFPA 497, 69, 68 IEC Ex
Certificates of competency from IEC Ex would be Ideal but not expected. Functional Safety Skills a plus but not a requirement.
A process safety engineer or electrical engineer may have these skill but would be dependent on work experience.
