Facilities Technician

 

Entry Level HVACR Apprentice /Janitorial / Landscaper and Driver

Position Summary:
Position responsible for facility cleanliness, pick up/deliveries and training to become a Mechanical Maintenance HVACR technician.

 
Essential Functions:

1. Cleanliness of facility and grounds to include but not limited to conf rooms, office areas, work areas and bathrooms
2. Mopping, sweeping, dusting, painting
3. Outdoor mowing, weed control, window cleaning, litter pick up
4. Routine inspections monthly operation of emergency lights / fire extinguishers and quarterly PMs
5. Driver - Deliveries using company vehicles (box truck) to pick up and deliver items from customers and suppliers
6. Remove trash from facility
7. Clean up spills and other messes as they arise
8. Restock supplies in the restrooms and ensure that it remains sanitary
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Preferred knowledge of HVACR systems: ability to obtain a 608 Universal refrigeration certificate
2. High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
3. Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic organization
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task
5. Punctuality
6. Able to work independently
7. Good attendance record
8. Mechanically inclined and have basic electrical troubleshooting and plumbing skills
