Product Engineer Coordinator
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Pay Rate: $39.00 to $40.00 per hour

You will love working as a Product Engineer Coordinator for this very successful, stable and rapidly growing automotive manufacturing company.

You will be paid handsomely for work you love doing.

In this exciting Product Engineering Coordinator role, you will be responsible for the activities related in the designs of Electrified Vehicle applications. You will be working with power electronics suppliers to ensure corporate requirements and specifications. You will support multiple assembly vehicle builds and parts sign offs. You will create and maintain documentation outlining best practices supporting internal continuous improvement initiatitives.

* You will act as the overall representative for company build and test activities

* You will manage build complexity and delivery from trans lab in the context of overall program timing.

* You will be responsible for management across programs.

* You will serve as the first interface for perspective for all programs and build phases.

* You will be the first responder for parts fitment and issues.

* You will create and manage the build book.

* You will managing accepting, receipt and dispersal in trans lab of returned EDM builds and PIMs (misbuilds, failures etc.)

* You will organize and track parts, returns and builds.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.

* At least one year of automotive work experience required (preferred in the product design release process).

* Basic understanding of power electronics and devices.

* Basic understanding of electrical engineering protocols and standards.

* Highly motivated and self-starter.

* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

* Ability to interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management.
