Engineering Aide 41198 Location: Mossville, Illinois Hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
You will love working as an Engineering Aide in Mossville, Illinois. This is an onsite role. In this exciting Call Center Helpline position, you will assist company dealers in submitting 30 to 50 inquiries per day typically seeking assistance regarding remanufactured engine parts. You will be responsible for timely and accurate responses to technical information to company dealers worldwide. You will receive inquiries via phone, email and the company website. You will be part of a 3-person team. You will be answering technical inquiries related to remanufactured products including engines, engine components, drivetrain, electronics and hydraulics. Often the dealer needs help selecting the correct part so they can place an order. What you will be doing:
You will respond to dealer inquiries from phone calls, emails and website submissions.
You will log the inquiries into the Salesforce program.
You will use the company computer system to look up answers.
On occasion, you may need to contact engineers to help answer the dealer inquiry.
You will potentially have 20 to 30 dealer interactions per day per person.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associate Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
2 years of experience is desirable, but not required. Internship experience is acceptable.
Will accept a bachelor’s degree. Will accept a recent graduate.
Computer skills including the ability to learn a variety of software applications such as Salesforce and company computer systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook.
A working knowledge of engines and engine components is desirable but not required.
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com applications is desirable but not required.
