The Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) position offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated, innovative and inspired engineers to work on a challenging assignment in the advanced phase of automotive product development.
The KBE Parametric Surface Feasibility Engineer will be responsible for the creation of parametric KBE templates, the rapid development of Class A feasibility proposals and the creation of linked production-feasible inputs for vehicle-level associateive parametrically designed components.
The position is also responsible for developing feasible product designs that meet styling intent, working daily with Styling and Studio Engineering, while using the latest in parametric design engineering tools. The goal is to achieve styling requirements while assuring engineering feasibility and meeting quality standards.
Qualifications:
3+ years of automotive engineering experience in Body Exterior and BIW.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (BSME. BSAE, BSEE) from an ABET accredited university.
Candidate must have a passion for automobiles and for the automotive industry.

Parametric Design and Class A surface experience in CATIA V5, V6 or NX.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in use of Team Center.
