Network Engineer
Location: 100% Remote for Caterpillar Office in Rapid City, South Dakota
- Knowledge of how Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate interact with data sources. Strong ability to adapt and learn new languages and programming processes. Develop, implement, and maintain leading edge analytics systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks. Create best practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization. Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data. Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail. Critical thinking and strong reasoning skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Job duties include, but not limited to coding in C#, C++, MEL, Python, and utilizing PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate programming. Familiar with software design processes, software engineering (OOP) and Windows programming.
