Data Visualization Specialist / Data Scientist 33930 Location: Peoria, Illinois Hybrid role (work in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) You will love working as a Data Visualization Specialist in Peoria, Illinois. What you’ll be doing: You will be working as a Data Visualization Specialist in Parts Pricing and you will use methods in data visualization and data analytics to solve problems for internal customers. You will contribute to the company’s Parts Pricing mission by engaging in projects of medium to high complexity with direct business impact. This role is primarily focused on the analysis and dashboard development of Parts Pricing data. Top candidates will have strong development experience. Typical Task Breakdown:
Understand and translate business requirements as it relates to Business Intelligence and data models into actionable insights.
Design, develop and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
Collaborate and engage stakeholders to understand their data needs in order to deliver quality business intelligence solutions.
Provide visualization and analytics support to high profile Enterprise Strategy Division Projects.
Use visualization and analytic methods to help the Parts Pricing Organization make data-driven decisions
Technical Skills
2+ years of experience in previous BI role, with Power BI experience
1+ years of experience using SQL
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with Power BI publication in online workspaces
Proficiency in data extraction and transformation from various data sources
Expertise in report and dashboard design for visually appealing and interactive reports
Preferred Skills
Experience with DAX, M code programming and Power BI data flows is highly desirable
Top 3 technical skills: 2+ years of experience in previous BI role, with Power BI experience, 1+ years of experience using SQL, Expertise in report and dashboard design for visually appealing and interactive reports.
