Field Service Engineer
Location: Travel position going to plant locations

- Support execution of retrofit projects including installation, power up, and commissioning of one or more of the following: Turbine control solutions (GE MarkVIe /  MarkVI / MarkV control systems),  HMI upgrades, and TIL implementation.

 

Common duties for each of the above:

- Work closely with project managers, customers, and supplier representatives to ensure financial performance, quality project installation, timeliness, and customer satisfaction

- Timely completion of service time sheets, trip reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements including pre-mobilization and de-mobilization meetings and procedures

- Minimum 5 years of field engineering experience in power generation, industrial plant automation, DCS (distributed control system), PLC (programmable logic controller) and/or similar industry sectors.

- Previous industrial field service experience.

- Controls experience to equipment that functions as a prime mover.

- Electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills.

- Computer skills, familiarity with MS Office, TCP/IP configuration
